OWJones 1,981 Posted November 26, 2012 I use RapidPrep cleaner (http://www.rapidtac.com/products/prep.html). I bought a gallon off of ebay for $30 delivered. I use it for cleaning all surfaces prior to installation of vinyl, and it's great for taking fingerprints off of 631. Another trick is to keep a bottle of hand sanitizer gel on your workbench and clean your hands thoroughly before handling the vinyl. Of course, if you're like me, you won't remember that until after you see the fingerprints... I'm sure there are other cleaning products that will work as well, but I know that RapidPrep is safe for use on vinyl and doesn't harm the adhesive, so I feel safe using it.
