piscespokerbrat 80 Posted October 26, 2012 How hard can it be to convert SVG to EPS or vice versa? Lets see, a simple GOOGLE search brought this link up as the 1st one - http://image.online-convert.com/convert-to-svg and I uploaded an EPS and had an SVG in less than 20 seconds.. jeez get yer panties out of a knot. Do we all forget that Google is god now?

There ya go, no fuss no muss, everything handed to you on a silver platter. You want to be a dick, I can be a dick too.

MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted October 26, 2012 LOL I run a business since 2006, and just use Flexistarter for my cutting needs. Can be purchased on the big auction site for around $120. I got mine even cheaper. Will import more file formats, than most any software. Nobody said you needed $500 software to run a business. You can still use inkscape with it. Just trying to lend some help, Because you are tied up with 1 file format, svg. Signcut imports/opens .eps files....and your stating you have it above. So. why .svg only? You can import files into Signcut, as well as export to Signcut . So, you are not limited to just using .svg files. I just downloaded the trial of Signcut and opened /import an .eps file to cut. No problem.. I am just hoping that you are not limiting yourself to just.svg files for Signcut. You can open/import other file formats with Signcut. You can open/import .sc .ai .eps .cdr .wmf .dxf .plt .rtf file formats. They are all listed Under ALL SUPPORTED FORMATS when you go to browse in Signcut, for an image. These are all supported files that can be opened/imported with Signcut. And if you need to do a little edit work on them, you can convert it like piscespokerbrat showed you. Just trying to help you. SeeJaysPlace 476 Posted October 26, 2012 Yes i can open EPS with Signcut .. I just can't edit it or change it at all.. with Inkscape or Signcut !! thats all .. and if the EPS file is screwed up i can't change it at all. I'm always open for suggestions and improvement.. To get things to work.. SeeJay
Robert H. Bigart 64 Posted October 27, 2012 If you load an .eps into IRFANVIEW you can save it to a .jpeg or .tif file load it into INKSCAPE and do anything you want to. Bob
