Big Fran 10 Posted October 13, 2012 I've been using Corel draw for years. (since Version 2) I would like to learn and start using Adobe Illustrator as well. I've never even tried AI. I would like to know what version to get. I know nothing about Adobe Illustrator. I plan to keep using my Corel Draw but the more I know the better I can be. I would be using it on a Windows 7 computer if that matters. Thanks for any help, Fran
Wildgoose 4,200 Posted November 7, 2012 Here is a link to a comparison of the last 4 versions. Not sure if that helps or not. http://www.adobe.com/products/illustrator/buying-guide-version-comparison.html?PID=2159997 Illustrator is a massive program and it takes a LOT of time time and effort to learn but its well worth it. I use CS5 but the new program is just out and I see a lot of folks using older CS2 versions with good results.

I bought CS2 back in 2006, I still use it for my needs , and it came with a nice big book to help out.
