thomasmary 11 Posted August 9, 2012 I am wanting to do some yard signs but can not decide what I want to use. I have seen the coroplast used in the past and in this area they do not last long in our winds. It tears them up fast. What would be a good substrate to make a sign like a football or basketball and put vinyl on that you can put into the ground for a fairly cheap price? It would have to be able to use some type of a stake on it to secure it to the ground like the coroplast signs.
Dr12volt1338 116 Posted August 9, 2012 I've never had a problem with using coroplast and we also get some pretty wicked wind, mine always came out of the ground long before anything else...Where are you getting your blanks from? Are they real cheap and flimsy feeling.. They make a product just like coroplast but it's aluminum, probably won't be real cost effective in what you are looking to do....
