Gabe9Nine 1 Posted August 5, 2012 This question has probably been posted before so sorry in advance if this is a duplicate. I am using a MH721... is there any way to cut straight from Corel X6? It would make things so much easier...lol. Thanks!

flashgordon 0 Posted September 1, 2012 I installed Roland drivers to run my MH plotter, using x4- don't know about x6 but seems if the drivers work for MH they will work for MH on any version.
Rkerin 3 Posted October 27, 2012 I have the same cutter, and per US Cutter going directly from X5 is not possible. Though I did it once. I was using sign cut pro and I can't seem to get it to cut the letters out correctly. Some of the letters are correct others are off line or out of shape. Any suggestions. I would love to find the driver you used FlashGordon to install your cutter to work with X4 (I have x5) .. any help would be great!! I have been at this for about 3 hours and well I have gotten one decal cut out.

I have been at this for about 3 hours and well I have gotten one decal cut out. So, my question to you is, once you get those drivers to just cut, how are you going to adjust your blade offset? As that is in the cutting software features. So, you may get it to cut, BUT you have no adjustments , like in cutting software. So. do you plan to just cut crap? You have no way of fine tuning it, to cut good. As you found out before. this is what Bob Bigart has posted before. .... I don't know if it works. I have no reason to try it. How to cut direct from Illustrator & COREL Hi Guys First of all you must get a NULL MODEM CABLE to go from computer to (plotter) cutter. Make sure it’s a NULL MODEM CABLE and not just a PRINTER CABLE. Null Modem serial cables allows two DTE or DCE devices to communicate with no conflict in data transmission Then convert your line weight to the thinnest (the one with 2 ARROWS). Set all lines at Wire frame. Export as a .DXF file. Send your .DXF file to your Printer. Set your printer preference to your plotter cutter at PRINT. REMEMBER YOU MUST CUT FROM A .DXF file. This works for me and I hope it works for you. Thank You, Bob Bigart
