printing to inkjet printer issue

Can someone please point me to the right button to push to print an Inkscape project to an inkjet printer please.

I've gone through all the tutorials and have been searching for a useful help topic on this forum and at Inkscape.org but still have not found the correct buttons to push.

I have some text graphics I want to print onto plain white paper via a newer low end Home office HP Inkjet printer.

that is what I see. File> print. First you have to ADD your printer. That is the box that came up for me...
