Big Step

So, i took a big step today and paid for my Screen Printing Setup and everything to go with it ..

$1,000 down and hopfully it goes well :)

I have a buddy that has a full basement emtpy for a nice dark room and all that we can use

with no cost till we start making money!

Congratulations! Screenprinting sounds like fun! I just don't have the room for yet another thing to work on - or the time.

what paint are you using to screen print cor. signs?

Solvent ink. starts at about 150 bucks a gallon on up. Stinky sticky stuff. Gotta keep the screen flooded and keep it thinned correctly, after about 20 seconds with a open screen its frozen in there. I wont run anything less than starting at 100 pcs.

Need a big screen and a vacuum table to hold down the coro. Drying racks start at about 400 a pop for anything worthwhile, the bigger the better.

Cleanup with thinner. special emulsion and high mesh screens, 230 and up.

i'll stick to vinyl signs. well at least till i can just but a flatbed printer.lol with will probably be never
