AbsoluteAirbrush 33 Posted June 14, 2012 Congrats and Welcome Chris! Lots of good people and good information here. It really depends on what part of the country you live in, you're best to find a local supplier (to save freight and convience), and/or find one at least close to your part of the country, because freight sometimes can be pricey depending on what it is. Good Luck! Alan
slice&dice 2,450 Posted June 14, 2012 Hello to you. Consider opening an account with Grimco. As for the SC, make sure your blade is really really deep into the blade holder, and only peeks out the slightest amount. In fact, you may not even be able to see it extending beyond the end with the naked eye.
speleopower 46 Posted June 14, 2012 I got a SC 34" a few weeks ago and it has worked very well for the projects I needed it to. Yes the blade barely has to be out. I have been pulling the blade back more and more and using less and less pressure. welcome! Scott
mabscotthandyman 1,410 Posted June 14, 2012 Hello and welcome . Do a web search for sign supply dealers closest to your location most suppliers handle the composite metal in one brand or another. The ones I use are a good distance from me but deliver in our area every week at reasonable rates . Dan
