Can't import all of my vector

Trace a logo in AI CS4 on two layers seperate from the bitmap. Save as version 8 ai file. The second layer won't show in SB for anything......Tried merging the two layers, flattening them, just saving the second layer, but just no go. :/ Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Thanks. Dave

try saving as a version 8 .eps file, See if that works

Thanks Skeeter. Gave it a try with the same results.......Just don't get it. I will try and attach a couple of screen shots and see if that might help. Thanks again. Dave

I dont use AI but I had the same problem last week with inkscape. It would not import a circle for some reason. I fixed it by selecting the circle and hitting either object to path or stroke to path. Forgot which one but if theres anything like that in AI, give those a shot.

Thanks Coaster for the suggestion. I gave it a try but no luck. Ended up spending another hour and just redid the whole thing........Just don't get how some of this stuff works (or doesn't in this case!).
