taviacam 0 Posted March 17, 2011 I just joined US Cutters and wanted to say Howdy. I'm using a Roland SOLJET PRO III XC-540 for printing and cutting and using VersaWorks. I love this machine But not always feeling the VersaWorks love. I've been looking through the forums trying to find more information running scripts in Illustrator 4 so that I can batch eps files with the contour cut color or if there was a plugin that I could get to help with this. One problem I've been encountering is with printing and transparencies in the layers. Sometimes flattening helps sometimes it doesn't. I'm not sure if this is because I'm using PS3 and I'm getting files in 4 and 5. I'm not sure if the hangup is with the different versions or if it's something else. I wish I could be more specific, but I don't have a handle on the tech speak yet There's so much information to get through!
