condors1 0 Posted January 14, 2011 Just got some adhesive backed sticker vinyl and don't know which setting to use for a good cut. Have been cutting calendar 631 vinyal at Speed 12" and Force at 70 with great results, when I used these same setting with the adhesive vinyl, it cut all the way threw??? Can anyone tell me the best setting for this type of vinyl??? Also the settings for Easyweed heat transfer material, as I have some of that coming in the next few days. I'm new at this, so I'm still learning. Read most of the posts in all sections, but didn't really find an answer. Thanks so much, any help would be appreciated. roxanneupnorth 106 Posted January 14, 2011 I use the exact same settings for 651, 631 and Siser Easy Weed. - Pressure 80 grams - Speed 50 cm/s I could cut faster but usually not in a hurry.
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted January 14, 2011 every cutter will be slightly different , even vinyls can be different - sometimes oracal 651 white won't cut the same as red

Thank you, my cutter is a us cutter refine 721and it shows the speed in inches instead of cm/s, so what would that be?? I'm terrible at Math and hate the cm usage, can never keep it straight. I asume the pressure is the Force on mine?
hagen8492 4 Posted January 15, 2011 For Avery and Oracal 651, 751 I use 30g for both my 721 and 1351 machine and it works great. Just make test cuts to find the right pressure. CH
Conquestgraphics 4 Posted January 15, 2011 there is a button on your 721 that says test try it out and adjust from there
