Scaling Vehicle Templates in Illy?

Ok,  I am trying to scale an 07 Kia Sportage in illustrator.  It will not allow me to scale correctly.  It tells me parts will fall outside the drawing area.  Can I increase the drawing area or is there a different to get this to scale correctly??

I usually design the job at file size and then enlarge it 2000% when sending it to the cutter or printer.

You can also resize the artboard.
