2 Inkscape Questions

2. How do I take an image and outline it so the insides will be hollow?

ok,  is it  inkscape questions?  Or Flexi questions?   And what version of Flexi? Pro? Flexistarter?  You Have Flexi questions in an inkscape thread.

(1) Just increase the stroke weight.

(2) Use the outline tool.  Select the clear center option in design central.  After creating the outline, right click and "Separate Outline".  The outline and the item outlined are now two separate pieces.  Delete the original leaving just the outline.

This assumes you are talking about Flexi, not Inkscape.

I'm not an expert but try this:

1. To make the lines thicker, click on the stroke/fill area at the lower left hand of the page. A box will come up and you can increase the stroke size.

2. To outline with an empty center area on a solid image, Copy the image, drag it off the original and  drag the corner to make it smaller than the original. Change color and slide it back over the original and center. Go to path and punch through. That should do the trick.
