Sue2 920 Posted August 10, 2010 Is there a way other than cutting heat-set deco-vinyl to get a foil on t-shirts. I thought I saw somewhere that someone imprinted the laser transfer sheet through first in solid black, pressed it onto the shirt then put the foil sheet over the black and pressed the foil onto the black. I searched the forum and couldn't find it. Am I dreaming??? TIA Sue

Sue2 920 Posted August 15, 2010 I KNEW I saw this foil trick someplace! We use a similar method with a laser printer on certificates You can cover the toner with foil and a second pass through the heat of the laser printer will stick the foil to the toner. Here it is on the t-shirt forum talking about the new trim-free JOTO Laser paper. It's about halfway down the first page...post date of July 29th http://www.t-shirtforums.com/laser-heat-transfer-paper/t122816.html OMG...this could be great!!! Fast Foil!
