what do you mean you ran it thru inkscape?  did you vectorize it and save it as an .eps?   or whatever file that  winpc can import?  If you have winpc pro you can vectorize it there.

first thing i would do would be to remove all of the background, leaving just dustin, in whatever photoshop program your using. then vectorize in inkscape from there.

3-D being the rage today, I like to give these sport images a 3-D look. I moved the border in and completed the glove that was cut off in the original image.

This took about 45min to complete. it could use a little better edge cleanup.

I needed to compress to a zip the eps file to be able to upload.

Just want to share some ideas. ;)

GIMP was used to mod the image and inscape to make the EPS

are you looking to print this or make it a one color cut out?

i was assuming cut out.

as i said, i remove the background first, heres my dog that i did.

before and after.

removing the background lets you make the image into black and white for single color cutting easier, as you dont have the problem of parts of the image you want starting to blend in with the backgeound

ok, eta, cant post the original as the files too big but i added a final pic of the result, although its hard to see through the transfer paper
