odokie 8 Posted May 4, 2010 What should I charge They want silver, I am thinking of using the "Oracal 851-090 Silver Gry" Anything better? It is quite large. This is for a large wall above mirrors in a karate shop. Total amount of vinyl will be 28 feet long X 1 foot tall. What should I charge installed or just the vinyl and let them install? Thanks for any input! Mary Ann
bayshorecreations 30 Posted May 4, 2010 I would be somewhere around $400 for that. Dont forget to clean the wall good before you install it.
john! 1 Posted May 4, 2010 If the graphic is 1' tall x 28' i'd be $280-336 + install
midwaste 4 Posted May 4, 2010 I wouldnt even bother quoting it with them installing, even if they agree, you'll end up installing eventually, probably re-cutting it and having to explain why they screwed it up, and possibly looking like the bad guy in the end. Go and see what the wall looks like. As long as it's smooth, there is no reason to use 851 vinyl, I'd use one of the many greys available in 631. If they want a "silver" vinyl, I still wouldn't go above 651, unless they knew the cost difference and were set on the 851-090. If the wall is textured, prepare for headaches.
