HOW DO I DESIGN IN INKSCAPE AND CREATE SIGN TO CUT IN SIGNCUT?

do your sign,import your image,whatever...go to PATH in the top menu..TRACE BITMAP,a box comes up. adjust the settings til it looks good,then click ok. Save as .eps.Another box comes up convert text to paths,click ok. BE SURE AND NAME IT. Then import into signcut.

For text only,I don't think you have to trace. Just save as .eps.
