chanff 0 Posted March 21, 2010 I of course am a newbie and I seem to have most of this stuff figured out. The only thing I am confused about is why would you want a 34" or bigger over a 24" being that it seems like they don't sell vinyl any bigger then 24" unless I just don't see it. So you would have to tile stuff together anyway correct??
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted March 21, 2010 guess you just don't see it. There is plenty of 30" 48" and even larger vinyl. I have a Graphtec FC7000mk2-75 which is a 30" vinyl cutter, I have no problem getting vinyl. I make quite a few items that are 28"wide x whatever length for vehicles, I started with a 30" Seiki , and then after a couple years went to the Graphtec. here are only a couple places to purchase, and they definately show the different sizes, and their are many many more supply stores out there that carry 30" on up vinyl rolls. http://www.uscutter.com/ORACAL-651-Intermediate-Calendered_c_76.html https://www.earlmichcatalog.com/xcart/product.php?productid=17267&cat=889&page=1 on the EARLMICH site click the dropdown box, it goes to 60" x 50 yrds finding vinyl is not a problem at all. BannerJohn 1,324 Posted March 22, 2010 I keep all the basic colors in 30" vinyl at all times. And I use it frequently.
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted March 22, 2010 I've got a lot of vinyl from when I had the 50" cutter - now I cut it down to 24" for my current cutter
