Dragracer 0 Posted November 27, 2007 This may be a dumb ?? but can I use the bezier tool to trace a pic then go path and vectorized and save as ?? Thanks for your help . Kevin
BannerJohn 1,324 Posted November 27, 2007 why do you want to do it this way? Inkscape will trace if fr you, automatically.
Dragracer 0 Posted November 27, 2007 To make all the lines darker /maybe easier for vectorizing ? Just a thought . Kevin Or maybe use a pen tablet ? :-
BannerJohn 1,324 Posted November 27, 2007 try this....once you vectorize, remove the original bitmap or whatever, leaving the traced image. DO NOT SAVE yet...go to PATH then OFFSET. It should make the lines thicker. Just keep doing it til the lines are the way you want. THEN save as.

Kimon 1 Posted November 27, 2007 Actually you are on to something there. Sometimes redrawing the file is the most eficient way to get the job done. Great Sharpie tutorial here http://www.signforums.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=43457&hl=poor
