Fading vinyl?

Hi all,

Iv'e got a job coming up thats a 4x8 blue banner white lettering. the problem is the want the school name faded light light grey. i hoping they make a very thin vinyl to where i can lay the white vinyl onver the top.

If anyone has ever done this before i could use some advise.

heavy duty, I would out source it to the guy on ebay, I have used him in the past and he has done VERY good work. his prices are very low and you can keep your prices. Schools pay almost anything.

i just looked at his ebay store. looks like he only does up to 4 lines. ive got like 10. lots of txt.

How bout some " Etched look" vinyl, like is used on glass? Or a full digital print.

Here is what the guy mage for me and he shipped it the same day I ordered it and received it in 2 days.

The Banner was alot better, crisp clear than in the image provided.

here is a crazy way but it works and last!

Spray paint

Cut the letters but don't weed, then fade with the spray paint, let dry and weed. I even taped and installed after an hour of drying.

That is awesome.  Are you using the krylon with basic 651 or similar vinyl?
