Blade Holder Squeeks when moving

When the cutter is on, and the blade holder is moved back and forth, it makes a loud squeek kind of sound. Is there any way to fix it??

last one I heard about was a lp doing this and he had a crew that had backed out on the carriage that was rubbing on the rail.  also make sure the carriage is still riding on the rail

See if it does it with the top cover open.  If it doesn't it's probably the flex cable rubbing somewhere on the lid.

I haven't had this problem since I posted this. Weird. At least it's fixed now, right?

well...could be. Or,whatever was rubbing finally broke off or just rubbed itself down. But I would do as the others have said, just to check and make sure.
