MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted January 9, 2010 what cutting software are you using? Have you cut the same design before with no problems? Have you made sure there are not alot of extra nodes in the design,, Is it cleaned up good?

tmelan11 0 Posted January 11, 2010 i have used the same designs numerous times and it worked fine. i use signblazer trial version. it is very basic fonts that come with the software mostly. what should i do if i reboot and it still freezes up? it looks like the cutter isn't reading the design all of the way so it stopping mid cut. Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted January 12, 2010 are there a lot of extra nodes in the design? the refine has limited memory and has been known to lock up with lots of extra nodes in the design
hockeygirl 30 Posted January 12, 2010 Also, make sure you're using the usb port in the back of the computer. The ones in the front does not provide enough power and will lose connection frequently.
#D-zine# 2 Posted January 13, 2010 What does the LCD display show? Once it "freezes" does it show anything in the display? Or does it fade in and out? Mine did this and it was the power supply. Mine was also just a few months old. I even had to buy the power supply myself! :-
