I need to cut 260 3" felt circles...

Not a chance in hell I'm doing it by hand.  How can I put my cutter to work to do the job??

I don't know if you can make your cutter work on felt. I would visit a local upholstery shop. They should have a press used for cutting material for buttons. Not sure how much they would charge but it's gotta be better than doing those by hand. Worth a try.

Did you look at Home depot? I used felt on the bottom of our dinning room chairs. They might have some for larger furniture. But that's just a guess on my part.... Craft store?

Alternately, you could take a piece of 3" pipe (or electrical conduit), PVC pipe MIGHT work.. and grind the edges to a sharp edge.  Put a piece of 2x4 or something to hit with a hammer on the other end, lay your felt out on a piece of plywood and start punching them out.
