Another Text Question

Hello....Newb here....

How do you get a vector image of text.  When I type something and want to trace it, it doesn't trace.  What am I doing wrong?

nothing, it is already vector. when you save as eps, a pop up window will ask if you want to "convert text to curves".

you can just type that text in your cutting software,  like Sign blazer.  choose your font,  type it  select it,  size it,  send it to cutter.

you can just type that text in your cutting software,  like Sign blazer.   choose your font,  type it  select it,  size it,  send it to cutter.  

Then you can edit it too. Don't have to export and re-import if you want to make a change.
