barrypatch 0 Posted July 13, 2009 I have been reading and think I know the answer, but just for kicks and grins..... Cast is the best (and only good) choice for vehicles and motorcycles? I need to cut some text for a van and for a motorcycle. Neither are huge areas to covers, but after readiing tonight, I figured cast is the only choice. I am not sure how much of this I will do, but of course I need four different colors for both jobs. Thanks. Nancy
john! 1 Posted July 13, 2009 Cast is high performance vinyl that most use on vehicles that need to last. Personally I've used 6 year Calendered vinyl for 4 years and have never had a problem. Now you must use cast if there is any rivets or compound curves since it forms to them though.

sandman 5 Posted July 14, 2009 I've heard 3M is some of the best. I tried some GMI that didn't hold up well at all.
