BannerJohn 1,324 Posted October 5, 2007 I like it! One thing...I had mu cutter against the wall like that and found it hard on my back to reach over and put the rolls on vinyl in place. Do you roll yours out when using? I work out of my basemant too, with 2 cutters,5 computers,a 5x8 work table, and a 10 pc drum set,I'm stuffed to the walls. Always looking for tips on how to better organize things.
Guest Terry Posted October 5, 2007 Over to the left is not the cutter, thats a Encad printer. Cutter on right side. Yes I roll it out when I cut because the vinyl will back-up against the wall and travel. Hey I play drums also, but not in awhile.
BannerJohn 1,324 Posted October 5, 2007 Hey,get those drums out and play! It will relax you and cleanse your soul. Not to mention a great cardio work-out(only drummers know how physically hard it can be)
stormy 5 Posted October 5, 2007 My cutter is up against the wall as well. What I did was mounted the rollers on the front side instead of the rear. Havn't had a problem yet.
Guest Terry Posted October 5, 2007 Thats different, got a picture? Does it pull even? or to tight? Terry

I never,in over a year, thought to do that! I just flipped it around and it works great. Frees up a lot of room too. One thing, and it is a minor thing...as the cut vinyl comes off,I have to either pull enough out to get past the roll or it will go back behind and wind up inside the vinyl that is feeding. No big deal but have you found a work-around?
stormy 5 Posted October 8, 2007 Yeah I've had that problem too, but my main business is decals under 12" so It usually isn't a problem for me. It pulls tighter, but not too tight. Otherwise it's the exact same and it's easier for me to load and unload and it frees up time and space.
