When downloading clipart from websites for Vinyl output, Download EPS, BMP, JPG?

Should I Download a specific formated file for Vinyl output I intend to print from SigncutX2 to MH-721 cutter using Illustrator CS2 on a

MAC?

EPS, BMP, JPG?

I'm guessing EPS.

Illustrator Mac is what I plan to use.

I just bought Cutter but not here yet.

.eps is the standard vectorized format: ready to import and cut.

.jpg and .bmp are raster images that would need to be converted to vector before they can be cut.

Kevin welcome from Australia.  As Kenimes says, EPS is the best way to go.  Using Illustrator AI files are also OK, but EPS is the more popular and the standard for most cutting programs.
