TV will hang above it, not sit on it but it could.  At first I was going to put a bar top finish (epoxy resin) but decided to distress it, antique it and then shellac and wax it.  I will post a pic of what I did this morning at 10am.

Well as of 10:30 am this is what the top looks like, I have primer and a coat of paint on the lower section of the stand as well as the shelves and I am working on the drawer fronts.  If the paint would dry faster the job wouldnt take as long.  Furniture is tons of work, you wouldnt think so due to the size of the piece and the thought that has to go into each section to make it look right.  I wont post the rest for a couple days and then I will reveil the stand.

Schramm,  You do AWSOME work.  I can't wait to see each post of yours.  I have even went back through the archives. You are VERY talented my friend.  Keep up the good work.

Thanks a lot I cannot wait to reveal the rest of it which should be on friday.  I have it primed but had to work today so I will paint it tonight.  I am going to incorporate my antique mirror glass on the shelves so set it off.  I cannot wait for it to be funtional.
