lubricating cutter

Have some squeaking and the cutter head (side to side) movements seem strained. Is there any way to lubricate the machine if I am supposed to at all?

I had this some time ago. It is going out. I ordered 2. I replaced it and it is back to normal. I have a spare if you need one. Pm me

You can try to lube the back of the holder. Mine worked for about a month before it snapped.

The whole cutter head? Yikes. I will let you know, I am going to try to lubricate it somehow see if that works.

Most likely the squeaking you are hearing is the edge of the ribbon cable against the lid.  Lift the lid and see if it still squeaks.

If not you might try putting some mylar tape on the inside of the lid.

I haven't done anything to it. Had the office taken apart to re-arrange things. I have used it a few times, but was having some crashing issues with SignCut (in another thread).
