app tape and 631

I'm having a hard time witht he app tape sticking to oracal 631. It works fine with the 651 in any colour, but the black 631 it just does not want to stick to it. I clean it, before I apply the app tape, I've tried not cleaning it. What's the deal!!!

I want to do some RTA decals for homes, but its impossible to do so.

Should I let it sit? maybe let it heat up in the sun or something.

I have been using lots of Oracal 631 with the HT55 without trouble.  I have done two wall sayings in my craft room.  What tape are you using?

I have been using 631 on quite a few things and always use the HT55.

The matte finish of 631 does not allow app. tape to stick to it as well as the glossy vinyl. HT55 is made specifically by Oracal for the 631 vinyl, so I would suggest you use it for the 631.
