aingrati 0 Posted April 26, 2009 I have uploaded a design, but I am having trouble with the manipulation part to cut out only the design. I am using a black t shirt, but I only want the design to be see on the shirt. What do I do? barrellogo_onwhite_justlogo edited.eps barrellogo_onwhite_justlogo edited.eps
haumana 1,220 Posted April 26, 2009 I'm not sure if I understand completely ... You just want to cut out the wings and want to get rid of the letters and numbers? If you want just the wings, did you want the wings to be closer together or are you going to put in your own text/numbers?
aingrati 0 Posted April 26, 2009 No, this is the design i want to cut out. I want to print it first then cut a print with sign blazer. I will be using a black tshirt. I dont know if its easier to just cut the transfer paper as the image or just print then transfer.
haumana 1,220 Posted April 26, 2009 I can't say that I do t-shirts, but I can tell you that that is a design that I would not want to weed
sailorpatp 0 Posted April 27, 2009 Good luck! You want the part that is black to be the shirt? I can't see why you would need to print anything? Just cut it. You will have a box around your design on the shirt? You're using an opaque transfer? I would use heat press vinyl and draw a box around the design. I don't think that the cutter will do the cut without bunching up a lot of the small pieces on transfer paper. You will need to set the transfer paper on something that will let the cutter cut on the whole sheet (a carrier sheet). How are you going to cut that with all the lines overlapping on the eps file? Try to fix the middle of the "8" where the lines overlap. You will need to turn all the weeding options off. I would not even think of weeding that. You will need some sort of transfer sheet to hold the design together when you peel the backing off to get it to the shirt. If you get it done, I want pictures!
