can someone help me get my cutter working??

Everytime I put it away for awhile and then get it out again, I forget how to get it started.

It will not print. As though nothing is being sent to the cutter. I have checked the port settings and signblazer comm settings and they are all the same.

I don't know what I am doing wrong.  My Red reset button light is always on....

No other lights are on...should my green set up light be on as well?  I have tried EVERYTHING.  My son has a school project due and I would like to put some vinyl lettering on it. 

Please help.
