Bigart 64 Posted February 11, 2009 I just rebuilt my machine and downloaded Inkscape .46 and it loads up the startup screen that is to long and goes below the bottom of screen and there is no way I can reduce the height, so I can't see the last couple of items. Side note, if you just installed windows you need to check to see that your video drivers are installed, if they are not it may not let you change your screen resolution higher. tlzimmerman 11 Posted February 12, 2009 1680x1080....22 inch screen. Studies have shown that running a screen at lower resolution causes more eye strain because curves are not as smooth. Just an FYI. You can keep your resolution higher and adjust your DPI to make the text larger at the higher resolutions...which is the best compromise for older eyes. Bigart 64 Posted February 12, 2009 I just set it at 1024 X 768 and now I trying to remember how I loaded Ghostgum Software which has Ghostview & Ghostscript an I can't remember what else so I could read .eps files and .PS files etc. If any person has a procedure I shure would appreciate it.
