Laserpoint laser not working!?

Hi Support, I received my laserpoint24 a few days ago, everything seems to work fine except the laser eye in not coming on. I have read that the eye should come on when the machine is on..? Where do I go from here.....

Maybe pop the red carriage case off, and make sure the wire is not dinged up anywhere. Maybe check the connection. Worst case scenario- we might have to send you a new laser.

Hi and Thanks, I checked the wires and did a wiggle test. No luck...I'm assuming the small white ribbon wire that goes to the blade holder is the laser wire? It looks like I need a new laser

Yes, that is the wire in question. PM me your  shipping info, so I can get a new laser out to you.

Hi Ken, one more thing. Is there instrutions on the forums for changing the laser eye or do they come with the new eye?

The part we will ship you already has the laser eye attached to it, so you will just need to swap the part out.
