vytype 0 Posted November 20, 2008 i am looking to expand my offerings.some one asked me once recently for a stencil that is reuseable over and over again for airbrush work.i dont know what type to look for .also when doing glasses and beer mugs the most time is applying the stencil and masking.then the vinyl of course gets destoryed when i remove it after blasting. i also use the stencils for powdercoat designs.for this application i need a stencil material that can withstand short burst of heat.so the powdercoat flows out then i peal, clean the stickies off. and cure at 400 degrees for 20 min.in this case i think i'd need a type of masking paper maybe, cut out on the cutter and applied in the same principle. what does everybody use? knucklehead 530 Posted November 25, 2008 http://www.bren.org/, they've got some cutable mylar, and stuff, but I don't think you're going to find a stencil that will go through a powder coat oven, but maybe??
