MH 871-MK2 - Mac Mini - OSX 10.7.5 - Sure Cuts A Lot 3.047 - All Working on USB
lodcomm posted a topic in Mac Users Board
Hey Folks, Just wanted to let everyone know that I recently purchased an MH 871-MK2 from US-Cutter and it is working perfectly fine with the USB connection directly from my Mac Mini/OSX 10.7.5 - No serial converter needed. I basically installed the Sure Cuts A Lot software that came with the cutter. Once installed and registered, the SCAL software advised me that there was an update available, and I performed the update to SCAL Ver 3.047. In the Help menu on SCAL there was an option to install drivers for MH series cutters, which I did. I then rebooted my Mac. After the reboot, I plugged the USB cable directly from the mac to the 871's USB port, fired up SCAL - dragged a shape onto the layout screen, and hit the cut button - Sure enough the cutter came alive and plotted out the pattern perfectly happily. hopefully things will go as easily for other MAC users.. Graphtec FC7000-75 Poll Size not working OSX Lion
timnog posted a topic in GraphTec Cutting Plotter Support Requests
Hi there, I am so befuddled if this problem can even be solved. My intial computer for cutting was a Mac with Snow Leopard and Illustrator CS4. This worked great with my Graphtec 7000-75 and poll size works perfectly. We've just now upgraded to a Macbook Pro with Lion and CS6. I'm using the latest Cutting Master 2 v1.88. The cutter communicates with the laptop just fine, but it cannot poll size. You can click the button, but no values change. This is in GP-GL mode. I get an error when I try HP-GL. Any advice on getting poll size working on the new laptop? My last ditch solution is to put snow leopard on the new laptop, but I really don't want to roll back my OS.
