I noticed if you adjust the contour cut perimeter to .004 to anywhere under .010 you never see the adjustment in the software reflected on the graphic your putting it around. I want to make sure even though the software isn't reflecting such small adjustments it will still be cut at the set perimeter be it .004, through .010, and so forth. I realize we're talking about thousandths of an inch, but I was under the assumption the software would reflect it regardless of how small an adjustment you make. Thank you for any input.

Honestly to visually see a few thousandths is really hard especially when we're looking at a variance of 2-3 of them. I was just curious if Futurecorp can confirm the software doesn't register those adjustments under .010 in down to .004.

I honestly didn't try that till you mentioned it. It make sense that would make it identifiable, but it didn't make the line change. I did find if you zoom in that anything past .010 of an inch is visually reflected in the software. I hope Futurecorp confirms it isn't visual in the software, but the contour line will be adjusted to perimeter dimensions when performing the physical cut. Thank you for the excellent suggestion.

VM just like any other software requires time to learn regardless of the program your coming from. The video tutorials are your best friend when learning, and trying different options for designs. I look forward to more videos being produced on all the options included in VM Pro. I believe once you give yourself a few days to weeks of adjusting to the new software you will come to see its superior to SCALP. Futurecorp support on this forum is very good. They will work quickly to answer all your questions. If in doubt ask first as it saves bunches of time with trial, and error.

I'm wondering if there's a way to generate a straight line using the polyline module? I can draw with it fine, but if I want a perfect line I don't how to generate one. If you have suggestions, or could share how to I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

I'm not sure if you require the grid enabled to do that. I don't use the grid for production. I have tried holding down ALT, but can't get it to snap to a perfect line origin. I know I'm missing something.

I'm trying to install a font that seems to install fine without any error, but when I go to type to use it doesn't type anything inside VM Pro. Does anyone know what would cause this?

Yes very good information. The font is DIN SCHABLONIERSCHRIFT. I'll send it over to FutureCorp to have them check it out. Thank you all for your support. I tried selecting black to see if that was the issue, but it made no difference.

I received a response from Futurecorp this morning. All is well. Thank you.

I posted on here the other day that VM Pro was not letting me activate it. It was saying to many activations. I then got a response from Futurecorp on what to do, and it appeared fine. This morning went to use the software, and now I get the activation is expired error. I was in contact with Futurecorp, and they said they would reset the account. I still haven't heard from them. Please Futurecorp reset the my serial number I sent you. I have work lined up I can't do. Thank you.

You need the Titan edition. VM pro standard WON'T work properly with the regular version of VM Pro. They will send you a link to download from usually in 24 hours however today is Saturday, so keep this in mind.

I had a stick of memory go bad after updating my computer. I had to install Windows 3-5 times before finding out it was the memory that was at fault. I finally go to activate my VM Pro, and get an activation error. I'm dead in the water till Futurecorp gets me up, and running. Please handle this. I messaged you directly.

I was wondering the way everyone makes a bleed for graphics when they want a zero amount of white in the background from the contour cut? I know there are many ways to perform them. I notice if I do an outline on a graphic, and go into the image using a bleed I get outlines on images that are slightly wavy. This of course is minor, but on images with dark contrasting outlines it naturally catches your eye. I was wondering if anyone has some methods to avoid this? Thank you, Vince

I had the exact same cutter, and will say when it cut it cut well, but I was always having issues with calibration. Here's a suggestion. Return the cutter, and put some money away if need be then purchase a Graphtec. If your serious about your business model then you will have to make an investment in some pro grade equipment. My Graphtec literally saved my graphics business. Most all forum members would agree dollar for dollar the money invested in that machine is well spent. The Titan3 is a weak design, and is FAR from a pro grade machine. The system suffers from EMI even though its USB . On my unit I replaced the motherboard, and the unit still would randomly slam its head into the side quite hard. It was nothing but a hassle. Set aside all the hardware issues, you'll soon realize the system requires another version of Vinyl Master specific to that machine. I decided to upgrade to VM Pro. This was before the Vinyl Master Titan version of Pro was available. It was a nightmare as I was in your shoes. The machines calibration was God awful. Hit miss at best. Then the software wouldn't work with the unit reliably. Talk about frustration. US cutter support is some of the best I've seen however the systems motherboard reflects Chinas lack of quality control. The motherboard is essentially a generic motion controller. Take about thirty minutes, and review the internal components inside the chassis. The highest quality component is the Meanwell power supply. The system lacks proper grounding.. Then they claim its an all metal chassis. Think about the all metal chassis without any proper earth grounding. It's obvious the machine is simply a direct China import made to reflect an American version. I engineer CNC motion control systems, so I deal with stepper systems daily. The system is a paperweight, and for the ones that purchase these over the genuine reputable brands I wish you the best, but rest assured you'll never get even close to your investment back. Don't believe what I'm writing about review Ebay, and you will soon realize why they typically give them away. My advice is to call US Cutters support if you haven't, and see if they will guide you through the calibration process. It's very tedious if you expect precision accuracy with the calibration test sheets you have to use, but maybe you'll get lucky. They will stay on the phone as long as it takes, or just offer to send you a motherboard, and in most cases even offer to take the system back as credit towards another one, or just give you a refund. I already pointed you in the right direction from what I wrote above. The basic version of Vinyl Master isn't really that capable for contour cutting till you get the LTR, or PRO version. There's simply to many limitations for really defined contoured graphics. I stepped up from LTR to PRO, and I honestly believe you will almost be able to have money thrown at you with the possibilities. Good luck.

I see in the Objects link on the toolbar you can add a weedbox, and it does put a box around the items I would like to have a weedbox. The issue is it doesn't cut the box out. My prints actually printed the box, but never cut around it. How do I add a weedbox, that's ready to be cut around the objects I select? Thank you all for your support.

I'm cutting graphics, and only use the contour cutting module. I don't have the option for "Auto Weed Box".

I just messaged Future Corp I hope they send the update quickly I can't wait to see what's been changed.
