Well I sold my cutter to get a laser point. They took it off sale I got Pissed and slammed the cutter company. The sale of my cutter fell through that was good. After I posted the slam on us cutter. I realized it would have been my fault anyway. I'm sorry to the folks at the cutter people. I should have never counted my chickens.

Can anyone on here pleas tell me if a HP desighjet 5000 is a decent printer. I have a chance to buy one at a decent price and get a large format black and white and the same in color scanner.

So Ive been working on a graphic With a forearm bleeding the word in MOPAR lime green. Yours is gorgeous.

So when I got this 871-mk2 Somehow I ended up with an extra Controller Board. It was bad. That may have been why everyone in town said it was broke. So I started testing parts The larger caps were bad. I ordered them for next to nothing off ebay. I need to know If the firmware to flash this board is available. I have flashed firmware not just a bios. Also I believe nothing that is broken is sacred. I cant make it any worse. I know it works because it did nothing when I tried it. Now it just bobs back and fourth.

I was reading a post from a gentleman yesterday that had purchased a piece of software that he was clearly been misinformed about. US Cutter should man up and refund this person's money. He asked the right question. She clearly gave him the wrong answer. The fact that she truly had not part of a clue if it would work with his cutter. Should fall on US Cutter. That's 200.00 That that man will never see back. If she can say she was misinformed that's their problem. The thing that makes this an issue is it was buyers remorse he could have downloaded it from countless pirate sites and never bothered with sending his hard earned cash. This is obviously an decent person that should have that refund. That woman represents the company. I have talked to one woman and ended up with really bad info. You made my transaction right. It wasn't software, but same circumstance. You going to lose a good customer over a little round disk? You would have ended with that 200.00 many times over. I had a man tell me a long time ago " You can sheer a sheep a hundred times, you can only skin him once".

I have a MH MK2 and the only issue i have had. When i bought it it was just for fun. it still is. The first 2 or 3 cuts I made had to have been sheer luck. They came out fine. Now when I got everyone said don't buy it because its broken. Small town. I use everything you guys say not to. usb cable laptop all the no no's. When mine screwed up first i got screamed at by my wife. I started reading this site. From the very begining it was never completely un boxed. the carrige was not checked st the cutter wouldn't drop. I love mine I guess I got lucky. Pleas don't take my not doing it your way as an insult. I will eventually buy a new one. Bit for now I;m happy.

Isn't the belt held on by two lugs on the carriage? The drive belt wouldn't move if the cutter head was stuck would it?

In west Virginia to use an old Propane tank you would have to weld the bullet holes. Oh if I can say something about blast cabinets. I have owned two for my machine shop. Never buy one from Harbor Freight. I returned the benchtop 2 times. I leaked everywhere. Fix one spot and find another.

I'm having issues with windows 10 and my SCAL pro3. I'm going back to windows 7 as soon as I can backup my stuff. Mz Skeeter is right wait. Microsoft alwas realeses an OS to early. This I think is a issue that they wouldn't have seen coming.

I have a Us Cutter MH871-MK2, I was wondering if its possible to put a sharpie marker in the tool holder for plotting. If anyone has done this could you give me any advice. Please keep in mind I have no intention of using this for a living. I made my money in the Enron scandal!

There's a man at US Cutter named Matt and another one who's name I can't remember. Both are excellent tech support people. They went far out of the way to help me even though I have a crappy cutter and knowing I'll never be a huge buyer. The machines aren't great but the prices for parts are and support is phenomenal.

So I'm not going to lie saying I know a lot about wrap. I do know about base and clear. a lot of shops will tell you to feather the edges on the clear and your good to clear over it. What Iv'e seen in my shop is there's a reason it's coming off. I would sand the whole thing down making sure you have all the separating taking of. Possibly a coat of decent primer. That's probably not the fast cheap answer, but if I were to have one wrapped that's the direction I would go.
