    @cardudenc   and others---- Per uscutter website...http://www.uscutter.com/Sure-Cuts-A-Lot-Pro-4 .  They have added scalps4pro to their software list  which will work on windows.. I do not get paid to mention software .I only mention it cause its an option for those who are looking for something else if needed.. :angry:  Not sure why the down talk is going on today but whatever. If Scalps was such a horrible program etc ,uscutter would not have JUST ADDED the new version to their software list. Like i said before ,the older versions of scalps had issues and problems and those have gone away  and i have had 4pro for over 2 years since it has been out and it works awesome for everything i do and have done.. Its a choice if someone wants to try or check out a different program.If they choose to switch to another its their choice,I force no body to pick ,I show how it works etc and they make that choice.If they choose scalps4pro over Vm then thats not my issue or fault..  I dont ever bash any software ,i just state my opinion oh how things look and work etc. Its not my fault if people leave whatever software and go to scalps .So can this retarded #$#@ come to an end holy crap. I dont think a Moderator should be commenting the way its happening here ..

    @MZ SKEETER What if he changed the scaling or resolution numbers etc we were talking about to what mine are or will that mess everything up?

    @BigHE can you go into the software where it says cutter and cutter setting and post what yours say  and post them here?

    I wasnt sure .. I have never had that issue with scalps but just checked the software . In Scalps He needs to click on Cutter, then cutter settings and see what his numbers say ..Mine are X and Y at 1.000. Jog distance   Normal  is .05  and fast is .30  ... not sure if they would be different cause the cutter...

    Wow really ?

    Why are you making that comment for ?  " authorized reseller of the software and it is available on their main web site for legal copies " are you saying craftedge.com isnt the legal place to get it from ?    Im not offering it in any means illegally , i just give the website... Cause at one point Uscutter wasnt going to offer the new Scalps4Pro. When i got my cutter ,it came with scalps 3 Pro.. and when it said it needed an update it took me to craftedge website and that when i see n that SCALPS4Pro was actually out,I contacted uscutter aand they said they were not going to offer the new Scalps because of VM coming it. So i went to the main company of it and got it .  And When i told craftedge that uscutter wasnt going to offer the new 4pro at that time ,they sent me an email with SCALPS4PRO for FREE.....

    Now uscutter is carrying it which is funny .This is why i stand behind SCALPS and their software, Any minor issue i did have,they were taking care of it promptly within hours or a day.. I have no complaints on scalps at all. it works flawless and is simple to use... This right here is why i do my comments 90% privately with my OPINIONS on things, I never do this to anyone . I let people speak their mind and leave it  at that ..  Very disappointed now in this forum. @cardudenc

    Scalp did have a lot of problems way  back then, i will admit that ,I had the chance of using a really old version of it many months ago and it was the worst thing ever i have seen and used..It would made me use Vm if i didnt have scalps4pro lol.. But they have made great and awesome improvements and i stand behind the name now and always will... same with my cutter. Yes there is bigger better etc  lol

    Is there any chance the cutter itself is the issue ? Im not wizard with those cutters or the internals of how they all work , But can something like a motor etc or a board be causing an issue?   Cause if i was to cut something at or around 400 speed i wouldnt have time to blink on my cutter lol..   Just an idea?

    The only reason i always mention scalps is because a few people i have helped had graphtecs that tried  Vm  etc on this forum and other forums im on  went with scalps over the other software out there, To me ,it all depends on what you do with it and the how easy to use software . Just my opinion. I have Vm as well..but dont use it.

    LOL, very nice setup.  That will be in my mind if and when I get more serious.  For now this is just for some small stuff for my personal and business use.  The pic is for boat registration numbers.  My boats are all yellow, but yellow on the white surface doesn't contrast enough by law, so the black shadowing makes them pop and easily seen...and I like the looks.  I have 6 boats to do, and then some signs around here that wear out in the Florida sun...and some other stuff, like I labeled my tool box.

     

    I am thinking about supplementing my income and doing small sign as a separate business in the same location...but I would need to figure out a way to gain some space.

    I said the same thing when i first started lol. It will be just for small stuff etc ,,Well that lasted for about a week after i mentioned what i was doing lol... the next thing you know i landed a couple several hundred dollar jobs and then everything i had bought was paid off in a matter of weeks ,The first year doing small side work i had cleared 10K take home .Now i own a hotronix fusion 16x20 and just bought a Epson WF7610 thanks to wildgoose and others info that was given to me ..So be prepared to be growing quick once you put the word out lol... do you have a spreadsheet for breaking down vinyl cost? ill post it here . It also has Siser htv in the list..Any questions just send me a pm.

    Sure cuts a lot 4 pro will work as well.. from craftedge.com.. I tried Vm and i just didnt like the layout and scalps4pro was just so simple in my own opinion lol... I ca n setup a live view for you if you want to see how it works..You will be able to see my screen live .Send me a pm If your interested..You be surprised on how many people do this with me and switch over, I do so much helping privately live view  on here lol.. @cardudenc is just one of them..
