I always make sure its straight and got plenty of slack .. its almost every cut i do now & never had this issue before so I'm confused now.

Hey all, I'm back on here finally got some free time from starting my newly vinyl business (kind of) very small still, but good news is I was able to make enough to pay off my titan 2. But now I feel like I learned enough to kind of jump ahead to heat pressing .. loved the idea from the start just could not afford both at the same time. So now that I been looking and researching I'm still lost on heat pressing and Printing. I was thinking of getting the new heat press us cutter just announced and with that I have a few groups wanting lanyards (let me not jump ahead) do you all like the specs of the new press from as far as i can read it seems great for the price and I'm sure not many on here made that purchase yet. Please all the opinions help Im looking to order with in the next 2 weeks or so after I can learn a little more .. Now sublimiation .. I have a HP all in one printer .. can i get the special ink and transfer paper and have this work or do I make that purchase down the road as well ? ... now last but not least.. for lanyards do you all print or can you do heat vinyl ? and are these good to start with(http://www.lanyardstore.com/economy-lanyards.html#product_tabs_review )there inexpensive & I know you get what you pay for but don't hurt to ask and learn from this all ... Hey everyone ! I have a customer that keeps saying the file I send him is not working and I converted it a couple times he keeps saying it needs to be vectored which i know clearly cause we are working on making t-shirts and sweat shirts. is there anyone out there that can help me out and vector this file for me ? I'm still a noob and clearly having an issue this would be the only one i need done only cause the guys in a rush and i can't figure what I'm doing wrong ... then again i only got scut and inkscape so maybe thats the issue ? Please feel free to PM me with any questions and I really really apperatie this all to whoever helps me out !

Had time today to set the stand up and get the plotter on it ... Grounded it with the wire that comes on the titan .. NOW the hard part ( i put the ink pen in for testing reasons i guess & did not put any blades which in cause i have no idea what color or degree blades to use ) .. But thats not even the hard part Im going to download sure cuts a lot while i wait for people to help, but when I'm done downloading what the heck do i do it came with no directions the ones on the website don't tell me anything to do at all and I'm already frustrated due to the fact that the stand they have posted is not the stand I just built .. someone please help ! ( here are some pics for idea reasons ) I refuse to plug in cause I'm nervous i took off a tie wrap on the blade holder i believe )

Hey guys & girls, So today I think I finally picked a plotter for what I intend to use it for and after talking to UsCutter for over and hour I hope I'm making the right pick. Its the new Titan (not the 2) and well I'm new to this vinyl world but didn't want a basic set up, but need all the right tools so other then the machine I figured I'd go with there Bundle kit that comes with everything I need. Now with that comes greenstar and I got a very very very mixed feeling on that brand. Please someone let me know if its worth the hassle I don't want my in home business to be ruined before it even starts. So I use SCALP 3 with my titan 1 and have a secondary as inkscape .. I got 2 people that want to order 46" long and a 36" long ... now question is how do I go about this my matte size only goes to 24" anything past that the machine just stops the cut .. clearly cause it is not on the grid ... im new and dont got much money to play with and get another program is there a ything else that can help me ? I honestly had the best time this past month learning about vinyl and the softwares ... I keep gaining new knowledge everyday and with the help from you all its amazing so glad Im apart of vinyl cutting now I got bored and its 2am so figured id show you all my latest work

the turbo i did mess up on but just left it cause it was not going to anyone and advice on fixing nodes it all seems straight and clean in person guess its the pic ... and i use Sure cuts a lot pro 3 with my titan 1

Hey all; I just recently got asked to make a logo for a car club and it was a big hit. The sponsor of a company supporting the club n2eds me to send the file to be printed on tshirts hoodies ETC. Now my issue is he asked for the file to be .bmp or .gif I have no idea how to change the .scut file to one of those ... Thank you in advance and hope I gave enough info cause thats really all I know is it saved as .scut and idk how to make it a different file

Export I had an issue with I guess I just dont know how to use it .. but I will try it hope its as easy as just resaving the file of course id make an extra just in case I screw up

Hey all, Its been a while and I must say Im enjoying my titan 1 very very much first 2 weeks of making stickers I sold over a 100 bucks Thats prob. nothing for most of you but now I keep getting people that don't want just text, Most send me a pic or something and i copy it and open it in inkscape i then bitmap trace it and delete the original .. now SCAP3 won't open it says there is an error i watch youtube videos a lot and no one explains exactly how to do images i know they got to be vectored isn't that what i did with the bitmap ? very confused please help thank you - mike i posted the pic someone wants done just to give an idea its .png idk how to change the location

i just wanted the logo on this the font i knew wouldn't trace well but i never seen it to were i can save as any you stated i normally hit save and it saves what ever it is ..

Copy and paste won't work I tried that when i first started out and since then never bothered cause i wanted to learn how to vector.. And it don't give me an option to save as a different file unless I'm saving it wrong ? and if Im not mistaken its a .jpg heres the original

So I honestly came from nothing to finally my first cut ... And when i say nothing, I mean nothing I had no idea where to even start .. Little background though on the blade .. For a newbie i got it right the first try it was an amazing feeling .. but anyway sorry for blabbing on like always hahaha heres my first decal a car group sent me .. ( this was cut with sure cuts a lot off a mac book 13" laptop and my brand me titan 1 )

Thanks for the advice guys ! ... I got a question though converting to vector i got a traced car outline and well what file due i save it as theres one called vector grafix sk1 but when i hit it i need to install a linxus or something ? Im now lost once again ... heres the image ... The image i did not bit trace yet (well i did but i messed up the save process i think cause won't let me post it and say not found)

So finalized a few small decals .. about 20 for a group .. I searched shipping to see what and how you all do payment and hiw you ship .. but comes back with nothing .. any advice is there pre stamped envolopes or anything like that I want to offer free shipping but idk if I should never shipped before (anything) so again new to me
