Thanks Skarekrow! I'm trying to draw one up myself with horse, rider, and cart. It's for a family friend for their truck. They have an event to go to this weekend and I was hoping to have it done to show off my work. Hoping to get some trailer gigs in the near future.

I inherited this obsession for vinyl from a friend who handed down a ton of vinyl and transfer tape. Here I am nearing the end of my transfer tape stock and I am looking to purchase some more. I know I want clear tape, but there are a handful of different types to choose from; how do I know which one is right for me? Any guidance?
-
So you suggest paper tape unless I have a multi layer?
-
It took me about an hour total in 2 1/2 hour shifts.

Thanks! It was a challenge to weed. I wanted something that would help me learn different skills with weeding. I think I've got the hang of it now!

Repodon, Do you still have these?
-
Thanks! I'm giving their suggestions a try first, just to see how well I do.

Does anyone have a vehicle template for a 2006 Hyundai Elantra? I know it's a long shot but, it would be appreciated. I'm looking to try my hand in applying before I go all in so I figured I'd try on my vehicle.

Do you still have the file for this?

I'm trying to find the font for this logo. Any help pointing me in the right direction would help. I'm trying to help a friends church.
-
One more to see how well good you are! I'm looking for the font that has the little heart on the top of the tall letters.
-
Thanks! That was Quick!

I have been using 15" for a while because my cutter couldn't handle anything too big so I didn't think it worth getting the large roll. I have a new cutter on the way and I'm ordering vinyl. What are the advantages of the larger rolls other than the obvious?

I'm used to a cheap plotter, so when it comes to small detail, how small is too small on the detail? Is there a guide folks use or is it trial and error?
-
Thanks for that! I "plan" to keep mine for travel work. I travel too and from a couple places and I'm not sure I'll travel with the new one. We will see though. For what I do while traveling, I should be able to get away with the cheep one. My big next step is trying to find plans or draw up my own plans for a good work bench. Just made more room for my cutting but I need to build a new table.

How small is too small with a CE6000

Eagle Globe and Anchor! On the list of things to try! That one looks awesome! -
You are all settling my nerves! I'm not one that likes change, and you're making me feel better about it.

I hope so! I'm really looking forward to it. I just wish I had ordered it on Monday so It would be here today, not after the weekend. Oh well. It's a little daunting thinking about learning new software, but I'm sure it will come easy after struggling with this one for so long.

I ordered the CE6000-60. I also have a 28" MH Series. With that cutter, I was having trouble cutting something, when I switched to a smaller paper, It cut fine, so I'm not sure if it was static or the file or... After reading all of your posts, I think I'll keep some of both on hand in my primary colors.
-
Thanks for the input. I am still in the mindset of my old cutter that wouldn't cut anything too grand and too many copies. the 15" also provided less static and I think that helped out.
-
Thanks for all the input! I'm going to give it a try when my new cutter arrives. I'll let you know how I fair.
-
My ce6000-60 just shipped today. After I get it setup, what should my first cut be? Any suggestions?
-
Granted I'll do a test cut, but what else would someone recommend? Just looking to do something fun, not the 11 projects I have waiting

I'm trying to get better at creating double layer decals so I'm trying to cut something for my daughter's nursery. However, when I go to cut, some of the cuts (mouth, eyes) are cutting into the background color and not the foreground color. Can someone point me in a better direction? I know I'm doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what. Thanks in advance. ******Copyrighted image deleted by moderator**********

I think so. I started saving things as .svg. I didn't change the file in any other way and it cut correctly. It has recently turned in to a moot for the time being as my new CE6000-60 shipped today! But, for the sake of finding out, I'm glad I figured out a solution.
