  1. I was wondering, realistically, What the limitations are as far as text size for the copam 3500? I am finding that no matter what size I cut, edges are getting peeled. I have adjusted the blade depth, to way under half of a credit card width and also adjusted the pressure & speed several times to try to find the right combo, all with no success. Different settings do offer better results but no definite fix.I would also like to mention that I am using the factory blade that came with the machine. Should I buy another mfg's blades( any suggestions?) The blade is only a week old and has cut less than 3yds of vinyl. I have a P-cut ctn 1200 that does not give me this problem. I purchased the copam with the understanding that it was a better machine, which in all aspects except the above mentioned problem is. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank You all in advance.

    2 Layers

Thanks rrc1962 that's exactly what it was. Somehow after the top layer had cut the proportions changed from 100% to 94% in the properties I adjusted this and pen plotted a trial and the layers lined up perfectly. Thanks again!

    2 Layers

I could really use some help! I'm trying to cut 2 color layers for some boat letters. I created my reg marks on the image but when i cut the 2 seperate colors , the bottom color doesn't line up with the top layer. I'm using a light table so the difference is really visible. It's as if the tile size for the bottom color has changed. Is there a setting in flexi-starter that I should be using for 2 color layers . How can I get the bottom layer to outline the top layer how I have it in my original eps. Thanks in advance

    Work Space

Hello all I am a new comer to the vinyl world, and I've been absorbing all that I can from the wonderful people on this site. I am currently in the process of setting up my work space, which is a 10'x15' garage in my home, so I thought it would be a cool idea to ask the members of this forum to post pics of their work spaces with a short summary of their thoughts on why they chose those set-ups. I know from experience that organization = efficiency & I believe that this topic would greatly help all new comers. Thank you all in advance.
  17. Hello all I am the owner of a P-Cut ct-1200 I have made several attempts to cut a 40"x 50" decal, but SBE freezes causing the blade to go back to the home position and cutting a diagnol cut all the way back. I grounded the cutter to the stand using 12gauge stranded copper wire & fork terminals, I even wired up a dedicated grounded outlet directly to my panel just for the cutter & continue to have the same problem. What I have gathered from reading the P-cut Forum is that I may be having an issue with my motherboard. My question to you all is, has anyone else had this problem, replaced the motherboard, and resolved their issue? Please Respond, your feedback will determine if I purchase the motherboard. Thank You all in advance. BTW I just ordered a Copam cp-3500 but definitely want to make the P-cut work I've only owned it about 30 days.
