windasm Thanks! -
Out of curiosity does your tape dispenser just mount on top of your work table? I built mine on the end so the tape would only be like a inch above the decal when I went go to apply it. I usually tape the decal down on the corners to keep static electricity from lifting it up, but it works out great other than that. Also I imagine using a small squeegee on large tape could cause some streching problems if your tape is really high up on the dispenser end. You may want to try a larger one like some of the other guys said.

Have you tried laying the tape upside down and then just laying the decal down on it?

Nice!! You might find the graphtec to be a bit picky compared to your r-series cutter until you get used to using it.
-
Have you checked to see if the design has only one color to cut? The only time I had ever experience anything like that was when I down loaded a screwed up vector that had was 2 layers of the same color and I thought it was only one.

The right thing to do would be to call them and say they had been a mistake with the order. Even though now I have a little guy with wings telling me that I'm going to go to hell after reading this post.

That's a bit cheap in my book. I would have charged around $12 to $15 each.

Nice Looking Tiles !! What do you use to cut the felt with? Do you glue it on and then cut off the excess? I usually put corduroy fabric on the ones I do since it's easier for me to have precuts of.

Looks Great!! How many people did it take to install it?

You should beable to get the correct software at the link below. I'm using the 4.60 version. http://www.graphtecamerica.com/support/ If that doesn't help you may need to download the files from one of the sites listed in the robo master pro help menu. Only problem is that one of the sites had the wrong files listed for win7 and I cant remember which one it was. They should have that fixed by now because it was like 4 months ago when I down loaded them.

If you are using win7? If you are you may not have the correct software installed for robo master pro.

Are you using insert file?

Find a free font that looks really similiar to the one that he wants you to use. Also, tell him you would still need to get permission from the logo owners even if it is still pending. That should cover you hopefully.

Nice!! I would probably mark the mugs up to 3.5x the material cost of each glass if it didn't take too long to etch them. I have no idea on how long it would take to blast them though since I have only used the paste on stuff.

Great Info I usually just put a rectangle of each color around the design and cut the vinyl pieces out to that size. Then all I do is hinge each layer from there.

you can when you make over 10 grand at the flea market selling it lol That would only cover 1 copyrighted decal. Luckly we sell boot legged dvds to take up the slack for not selling copyrighted stickers. j/k

Yeah I'm in the same boat as you. I just keep reminding myself that I cant afford to pay a $6000 fine.

Do you have your ink carts in the right spot?

Here's some eps files if you can use them. 070610_bass_1.eps 070610_bass_2.eps 070610_bass_1.eps 070610_bass_2.eps

Is anyone else getting these types of people?

It's good thing to blow off some steam every once in a while. I would go bezerk if I didnt. Actually I seen a snow ball stand sign done in lime green and yellow a few months ago. It was a eye catcher for sure, but it looked like it wasn't finished. I guess they had getting peoples attention in mind more than anything else. -
Thanks for the links.
-
Can you post a link to one? I would like to see one. Thanks

Have you tried just scoring any material just deep enough to make it easier to cut out by hand? I imagine if you are cutting all the way through the material that you would need to have a tacky sheet under neath to keep the tracking aligned. I'm not sure you can use them on any cutters besides a cricut and a robo craft though.
