How Legit are your businesses?

Talk to your accountant about it. That's actually something we're going to do today to make sure everything is in good standing. Where in Ohio are you located? -
Help with pricing for vinyl job
Foghorn12 replied to radgirl1's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
yeah screen printing might be your best bet. With all the weeding and the cost of material you'd probably need to sell them for $13.50 or more to make a profit. You'd be looking at $4050 for 300. And even then with all the work you'd put in i'm not sure $4000 would even be worth the work. And this is just for ready to apply vinyl. If you are supplying a substrate then the price will obviously go up. Anyone know of a good screen printer on here? We're getting equipment but it won't be in for a couple weeks. Good luck! -
3 ft. by 6 ft. banner

We'd be at $189 -
Honestly I really like the original. I think it's easier to read. But if you have your heart set on updating then the first is my favorite. I think the outline and drop shadow of the second one hinder visibility. I really like the layout. You did well

THAT IS AWESOME! Very cool idea. I may have to do something like this in my recording studio.

We'd be at about $67 each installed.

$100-110 here. but it all depends on location -
This sign has needed replaced for over 3 years. I worked there until 2006 and it needed replacement then. My old boss caught wind of what I was doing now and he contacted me. I used the original aluminum sign and covered it with white cast vinyl and lettered with 651. They love it and I got paid. another happy customer and money in the bank. good day

Be careful, this is addicting. Go have fun with it!
-
Thanks. I tried talking them into having the white reflective but they didn't want to spend more than they had to. Still alot more effective than before. As you can see you couldn't even read it.

Thats awesome. I've used wrong app tape before with 631 and that would have been a nightmare with the thin lines. In fact, I probably would have given up. lol I don't do enough work with 631 to buy the right app tape. Very nice work.

you did a nice job. Looks great especially for dry app. Would have been around $250 for those but as long as you made a profit more power to ya.

I like that a lot! Great work

Need pricing advice

how hard is the weeding? plays a big factor in price for large quantity -
mumpower prices are amazing. makes the coroplast option look like a possible avenue. Thanks!

Does anyone know where to get fold over poster board yard sign blanks? I'm looking to do a large run of yard signs and need to find someone who supplies these. They do need to hold up outside for a couple weeks so I can't just use poster board from walmart. I've seen them used for screen printing but I can't seem to find them.
-
idealy yes, we would use coroplast but we are going to be making free yard sale signs for anyone in our community. It's a way for us to get some new customers in the store. The signs will say Yard Sale then below that it will say "Sign Provided by (and will have our company logo)" We're screen printing them. Since it's free and they will only be used one or 2 weekends before being thrown out, and we plan on making a few hundred, coroplast doesn't seem like the best option.

How much would you charge for these banners?
Foghorn12 replied to splash0321's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
Yeah $185 each is good. That carbon fiber isn't cheap as you know. And with the rush order $185 each is more than fair. -
Those look great. I really like his logo too. did you design that for him?
-
I can't seem to find this font. I tried modifying Times New Roman but it's still not right. Anyone have a clue what font this is? Sorry it's so small. This is the only thing the customer supplied me
-
It's that logo and 3 words of that font. The sign is 2x4 feet so the text is decent size. Shouldn't be too bad
-
Beautiful! Thank you so much

I used to own a window cleaning company in AZ. Now I work for one part time until I can do my signs full time. That looks to be this summer!!!!! Very cool window cleaning graphic by the way.
