Though I said it, I have to agree, Dakota. 'Rhythmic' no. Not an Intermittent connection issue. Sounds like a motherboard problem.

What I thought was strange that for 4 months of use he hasn't had any issues then, all the sudden, it starts acting up? What's changed?

The rounded corners are definitely jagged. Adjusting the nodes will fix that.

I'n not sure about your terminology ("pinched") but, if the blade if not turning freely, remove the holder, clean any vinyl debri present and lube with WD 40. It won't take much WD, mind you and I would wipe the excess and run a few test cut afterward to remove extra lube. You may want to remove the blade from the blade holder and reset the depth as well.
The blade offset may be to blame, as well. don't have/ use SCALP so can't advise you there.
To me it looks as though the cut file you submitted and the image you posted are the same (?).

I have had occasion where the mock ups looked better than the actual shirt, too.
So, I guess there's a downside.
I came from a sign background and garments are just different, I guess.

I have a harder time visualizing my designs without seeing them in context...
often it leads to small changes that effect the overall design.

Just junk to throw on a T or a sticker for my kid's cars. Fortunately, I don't have to rely on those ideas to pay the bills.

This one probably fits this topic better;

Welcome, and nice lookin' bike, too! I've been pretty satisfied with the Oracal Paint mask. I think it was the
810 or 811 I last finished off. Also have use the sandblast stencil for cutting reusable masks. Satisfied with it as well.
A piece of poster board with some thin, double-sided tape or sprayed with repositionable adhesive like 3m 75 works
well for using up the small size or oddly trimmed scraps.

Daaag, I'm feelin' old...

There are a few advantages to breaking the design up. Might cost just a little more time on the software end, setting up
the files, but I often end up cutting things up in the feild for the installation anyways. Generally easier to be efficient with the vinyl, too.

+1 for that, Hatter!

I had a 'friend' that stole an LC Smith 12 guage from me in the late 70's. Hadn't been hit since then til the incident in 2010.
There are a whole bunch of unprincipled, moral-less souls wandering this planet.

If that's for the survivors, I'd hate to see what's for the ones that fell short.
Seriously, Is that blood and paint-ball splatter? (the Kid's will love it!)

My wife still kids me about typing code for 2 hours just to watch 10 seconds of pixelated fireworks!
