I have used Oramask 813 with tiny letters- and on a pcut, 60 deg blade. It certainly has its challenges. I would recommend over cut if your software has it? -
Nice! I see registration marks- may i ask which software you used?
-
get yourself some 751- I usually do very small letters --1/4" with 751 and its great. ( with 60 degree clean cut).

thank you for sharing.

Man, thats a good deal- enjoy. -
I agree to use 751. My wifes honda pilot has 751 and a rear wiper. No problems and we are at 3 years. Large graphic.

If it were me, I would place the cutter in original packing foam and rubbermaid container in the cab. Then once to the location remove and place on a custom stand that has some sort of quick release holders.

CE 6000-60 Noise Problem
Jburns replied to theishkid's topic in GraphTec Cutting Plotter Support Requests
I think it sounds like servo creep. From my RC car days- when the servos would have a very slight amount of electricity they would "creep" or make that sound. I think that is what it is-trying to find a zero point-or trying to hold a point-- almost like its in between two points in the motor- that's the best I can describe it.- But I'm not sure if its detrimental long term. -

On Oracal 8510, Action tac works great- i highly recommend applying wet. I have done a few windows (my home) and years later no bubbles. Once i tried dry and got bubbles. I didnt use backing tape, these were just full sheets.

Is static electricity causing write port error and other mysterious problems?

Direct USB is much faster for sending info to the cutter. -

I use a Belkin adapter with the three lights on my Pcut. Also I installed a little ground strap from the plotter to the frame. i used existing screws and little clips from auto parts store. However it is faster with USB interface- the converter lights flash showing its translating, and the tracing takes longer. I use Windows XP and Signblazer. -
Great! Thanks guys for the tips i will try it.

what software do you use? I really need to get software that does the reference blocks for layering. Thanks,

OK so my tool holder has cracked after MANY years of use. I have one ready to go in. I am comfortable with basic mechanics and electronics- but can someone tell me the best way to replace? Which covers to remove? Thanks in advance. -
