My loud stepper motor....... -
Here's a couple I've found in SVG format. flock ducks.svg decoy.svg

My question is how in the world do you weed it?? I have some 3M sheets and it won't cut through using a 65 degree blade and running it three times deeper than normal.
-
All I got from 3M is 10 sheet of 8X10. I'd like to know how a bigger area is (IE: thick spots, thin spots, weeding larger decals). An 8X10 sheet is hard to get any image size to speak of due to running out of grip and the sheet hitting the floor. LOL

Find the font, type on a path, add the scrolls. Gimme a minute. Here's a similar one I drew up. and.eps

Thanks. The colors are their team colors.

Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly is the benefit of the plugin? Is there an advantage over saving and opening with SCALP?
-
So where is the despeckle feature they've talked about?
-
Sign Warehouse in Texas. They're higher than USC though, $30 for Oracal 24"X10yd. You can buy one off ebay from them and get a $10 coupon code to use once a month for a year.
-
You should be able to select the port through the software.
-
Can anyone do this one? I've tried vectormagic, AI CS6, inkscape and SCALP. The image quality is too low I guess. I don't have the patience or artistics ability to redraw. LOL
-
I can't get it like I want. All I need are the cross and ribbon. Clouds and sun can be left out.
-
Customer really wants the one I posted. I'll see what he says about yours though. Thanks!
-
They just confirm what you want, and what equipment you use. When you fill out the request, write down the number and material you want. They'll ask if you want "JJ801" or whatever you're ordering. I was like, "I have no idea. I'm trying this new and am not familiar with your numbers" LOL

Did you ground the cutter to the frame of the stand?

Here in Arkansas helmets are optional. -
I've yet to find the despeckle feature. SCALP3 is a serious work in progress. And I mean SERIOUS.
-
What would you charge for this?
GraphxNMore replied to CarterMarkham's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
For my Mom.........it would be free. -
Right now I'm not too worried about it, but I'll have a large order of vinyl graphics to do this summer before school starts. I'm just making stencils right now. My problem will be with decals is I'm getting this rough strip where the pinch rollers run. How light can they be set and still work properly? Also, if I leave the machine loaded it'll leave an area the size of the contact patch the lookes almost like heat damage. That's no biggie, just unload the machine when I'm done, but the strip will look bad on decals.

Question about curving the top of text
GraphxNMore replied to Burrells's topic in Sure Cuts A Lot Pro
Adobe Illustrator has an excellent distort feature that does this. Not quite what the program I watched in action does, but still awesome. I downloaded the trail version of CS6, it is about to expire, considering the purchase. -
Thanks bro. I was afraid of the slippage factor. Figured I'd ask before testing and wasting a portion of vinyl. I knew someone had came across it before. LOL
-
Or do a file conversion online. Quick google search, and there's several free ones.

Overlapping Application tape on printed Vinyl
GraphxNMore replied to SignJunky's topic in General Help
What I've noticed is when you remove the top layer it wants to pull the vinyl loose from your substrate (whatever you're applying it to). Sometimes it's bad enough there is a considerable noticeable wrinkle all the way across. Lucky for me I'm primarily dong etched mirrors so it's not even a slight problem.
