Thomas,Adobe Illustrator, and Corel Draw are both capable of doing this. In Corel Draw it's called power clip. I'm not sure about Inkscape. Hope this helps. Rod

Are you operating this unit with a usb cable, or using a usb to serial cable adapter (keyspan)?

You're Welcome! You can cut and past what you need. I only cut with SBE, so I'm not sure of the proper nomenclature used in SBE , so I separated theme for you. Hope this helpsSierra Restaurant.SBD

I received a warning message a few moments ago when I opened the US Cutter website, warning that there are two viruses located in the ( c:\programfiles\signcut\plugins.exe) this is what the Norton website posted: You can view the full path in the attachment above. Hope this helps someone, Rod

Jenn, The file you posted has a bitmap file imbedded in it. The file at the bottom Princesstest.eps, is your file. The file Princesstest 002.eps is the same file with the bitmap removed. Princesstest 002.eps file open in SBE. Once you’ve convertedthe image to a vector format you have to remove the original image before you save to an EPS file. Rod princesstest 002.eps

Jenn, have you tried to save the file as an Eps file In Inkscape? The file is a vector, but I don't think SB will open a SVG file. Rod
