sorry, I am a Graphtec owner, I have never used a Refine. There are Pros and Cons all over the forum on them. maybe someone else will jump in, the Copam is highly regarded as a good machine. For $749.00 and a 2 year warranty on the USCutter.com site.
-
looks like just another company that sells Refine cutters. Refine is the brand and US CUTTER doesn't make them, just sells them.

I plan on shipping (2) 22''X100'' vehicle body graphics. Would these shipping tubes from the post office mess up the vinyl?
Thanks!
your question was already answered in the other post just like Bigfoot said. If you don't believe, someone, try it, after all the tubes are free. it is your customer, and how you want to present your graphics to your customers. .

Signblazer, just doesn't have the drivers for those models, Signblazer has not been updated for awhile, as the owner passed away a while back. This is why it is Free trial software. purchase a Flexistarter.8.6 or Signcut and get away from Signblazer.. Cost $99.00 you can use inkscape.org as your FREE design software.

absolutely gorgeous!!!! as always... You do such great work Schramm
-
transfer tape is on top. to transfer the decal to apply it. You have alot of reading and homework to do.
you can also go to a search engine like www.dogpile.com, or ASKjeeves.com and enter how do you make a decal.
-
yes it does, decals are in 3 layers before being applied, backing, decal, transfer tape on top. here is a video showing how to apply a decal
-
transfer tape , exacto knife, tweezers, designs, table, work area, I use needles, you can use inkscape.org for free design software,
-
that is the way Cutting Master 2(Flexi version) is for the Graphtec,it is not design software either, just cut, but it has plugins for Illustratar and Corel.
-
can be done both ways,
here is a cutter/printer/ but definately get your check book out, this is an inexpensive one.

I think there is an Illustrator plugin for it, most all of the Flexi versions made for such as, Graphtec Cutting Master /Roland Cut Studio have the Illustrator plug in as well as Corel,
-
Thanks for getting that for me Carolyn I was at the NBM show at indy
not a problem, hope you had a great time... and you probably came real close to my town, coming and going.. at least not real far away..

R series Of Vinyl Express is made my Redsail. The Q series is made by Graphtec. which would work with your Flexi7.6 (Graphtec)
Also Flexistarter8.6 would work for both for $99 on EBAY.
-
you cannot OPEN in Signblazer, you must import. Are you dong that?
-
sounds like it still has bitmap in it (raster) did you move the vector over and delete the original image before you saved it as an .eps?
-
I think you could go into USCutter support section. and download the Flexi drivers to your Flexi output. It has instructions how to do it in the utility. Give that a shot. May work, may not.

right under it. where it says curve quality, put it on medium,
-
Augh - well that was fast...back again. I was able to cut one full decal without a problem. Now, trying to cut the same decal and it has stopped in the middle both times...any ideas?
Did you do what I reccomended above? change the packet size,? turn the cutter on and off between cuts?

I guess it depends on how big of items you ship, To roll (2) 22" W by 100"-160" L + fullside vehicle graphics together is just too tightly rolled to suit me. I had tried, I didn't like it. I like a looser roll , I stayed with my boxes and no complaints. To each his own. I use them for hood graphics. no problems, I will spend $1.00 (box /including shipping costs) for no complaints. LOL THat's worth it to me.
