yes, many people are using it with windows 7
-
To get yourself going again, you could download the trial Signcut for 7 days.
Flexistarter Mac is only for Mac. not windows also.
Some people don't have any problems on windows USB, others do. A Keyspan adapter can be used .
I have also seen problems with the Mac dropping. , thus the Keyspan adapter worked for them also.
No matter what system you use. You need to ground your cutter to your cutter stand for vinyl static to release.

Was it acting like this before you purchased it? Did you see it cut before buying? Do a search for battery test, and try it. Is the carriage head in the track, the white wheels, are they firmly in their track?

here it is from US CUtter in Washington State. But if you live closer to Memphis Tenn. You might want to try the sister site www.SignUniverse.com

I have never used overcut.. My Graphtec cuts perfect as is... I use Flexistarter 8.6 and 0 offset.
-
Here is also a great newbie manual, to get you going in the right direction
-
I don't know anyone who cuts directly from inkcape... guess your on your own. I use Flexistarter.
-
Alot of people are busy, and it is the weekend... you may have to put the job up for hire...
-
Read the specs for your cutter to find cutting areas. look at the Graphtec site. Just past the little padlock is where you can change mm, inches etc. in inkscape. Depending on what cutting software you are using, is where you actually scale your image for cutting. Such as import your image them decide what size you want to cut it. Height x width.

I have used them before. Alot of goodies there

Seiki has a forum also,,,

go to dafont.com and go thru their dingbats. might find some
-
I have no idea what you did... Sounds like it is not vectorized... It will say that if it is a raster image.
-
you would have better luck doing your designing in www.inkscape.org which is free design software export as an .eps and import into Flexistarter.. Flexistarter is pretty basic design software, but great cutting software.

I didn't have any trouble downloading the file I posted up above, and when opened, it looks like your picture. It is the same font. It is styrofoam feelings.
Not being stupid, but are you extracting it first? I'm confused, I didn't have any trouble with it and I use Flexistarter 8.6
-
Well, you will need a workspace a whole lot larger than the items you are lining up, If what you are wanting, can even be done in Signblazer at all. I don't know.
-
I don't use Signblazer, but in Flexi I can just keep importing different files onto my layout screen, size them, line them up and cut. Can you import multiple files in Signblazer?
-
not a problem, we all still learn everyday after many years, there is always something new and different challenges. Just keep working at it.
